Wellington Botanical Gardens

Wellington is lucky to have a beautiful botanical garden.  It took Ann and I a full 4 plus months to make our way there and we missed the major Rose blooming, but none the less, a visit on Christmas Eve was very well worth the trip.  We sure would not be doing this Christmas Eve in the States!  I won't bore everyone with comments about each of the pictures.  I'll trust that you'll enjoy them on your own.

Views and Paths
The Gardens lie on the west side of Wellington atop the rolling hills there.
This is the view of Wellington from the Gardens.

There are numerous trails and paths that led through the Gardens.  Some inside the greenhouses that dot the landscape.

Along these paths and trails you'll find numerous sotting points where you can enjoy the flowers and scenery.

My favorite location by far was the greenhouses adjacent the gift shop and rose gardens.

You cans see here why I liked this area the best!

Just outside the greenhouses were the rose gardens and they were for sure beautiful.

Great to see you are doing well down under.
Every time I see indexing records from NZ I think of your work .... Thanks for all your time in service.

Wish I was ready to do full time service - that would be great place to go.
