As you may know, The Hobbit World Premier was in Wellington. The town really rolled out the "red carpet" figuratively and actually! Wellington was know as "The Middle of Middle Earth".

Perhaps the neatest of all was this Boeing 777 that Air New Zealand had painted. It did a "Fly-Over" of Wellington as the walking down the red carpet ended. It was less than 1500 feet above the city. From the top of our flat it was as you can see from the picture almost straight out from us.
