One of the highlights of the past 3 months was attending the "All-Black" vs. Argentina rugby game. It was a typical Wellington night with rain and wind, but the game was fun to watch. We had 16 senior missionaries including Pres. & Sister Kezerian our mission president.
The evening started with a tradition German dinner put on by Ann and me at our flat.
Home made rouladen, red cabbage, vegetables, spatzle...very yummy if I don't mind saying so myself!
Here's our group - Hirshi's, Overton's, Farnes, Becksteads, Freeman's, McVey's and Kezerians
This is the stadium - Westpac. We overlook it from Archives New Zealand every day
The Argentinian fans
Some really get into the game
"All-Black" entry
The traditional "HAKA" was performed but they had their backs to us....darn!
Game Time...I'll just show the photo's with no comments!
Halftime entertainment was a Ukulele Band
Just after half-time the lights in the stadium went off for about 10-minutes
