Winter Planting Ward Service Project
Kiwi's are really keen on keeping the environment alive and well.  Here we're at a service project that plants native bushes and plants.  We actually had about 40 show up to help.

Who is this guy?

Getting instruction from the pros!

We had to leave early to get to Paraparaumu for a Senior Dinner, but here's the rest of the Ward!

Wainuiomata Ward Open House

One of the funner events was the Ward open house at the Wainuiomata building about 20km from Wellington.  We were asked to be the senior tour guides and had lots of fun.  The building was super well prepared.

Here's the Young Women's Room

Here's the Relief Society Room

Here's the Primary Room

The missionaries stood out on the street with signs inviting people in

Few came so they added a free car wash and sausage...that really brought them in!

Here's the Bishop cooking up the onions & sausages...What's really popular is a butter piece of white bread with a sausage and lots of onions.  Kiwi's use tomato sauce but the wise folks use mustard

The car wash really brought them in.
There was great support from a lot of the ward members.
