Abel Tasman Boat Ride

From Picton we started our 3-day trip of the northern part of the South Island.  It was a different beauty for sure from everything else that we'd seen in New Zealand...worth the visit!

One of the most visited places in all of New Zealand is the Abel Tasman area.  It's at the top of the south island and is pretty much treated as a wilderness reserve with few roads in or out.  It's all accessed via boat or trail.  It's breath taking for sure!

Here's a picture of our "Sea Taxi".  We road it 2 hours up the coast as people were dropped off and 2 hours down the coast as the people were picked back up from tramping around.

I don't think that there will be much to say going down through the pictures....enjoy!

How in the world did this large circular stone get into this position...and then crack right down the middle?
